White Dragon Fruit, also known as Hylocereus undatus does not have an exact known origin. However, it is the most widely cultivated species of cacti. We source our white dragon fruit locally as well as from Ecuador during the off season in south Florida. White dragon fruit is loaded with edible seeds and is known to be refreshing and hydrating while its flavor is very mild.
White Pitaya contains great amounts of fiber, lycopene, and carbohydrates as well as water-soluble vitamins such as carotene, vitamin C and the B vitamins niacin and riboflavin. White Dragon fruit is available during the spring, summer and fall.
Fun Fact: A concoction made of dragon fruit, honey, and cucumber juice can moisturize and soothe sunburned skin.

Tropical Fruit ripens best in warm temperatures. If you have received fruit that has not ripened and you wish to speed up the ripening process, we recommend to either put your fruit in paper bags or wrapped in a kitchen towel and placed in a dry, warm area. Alternatively, you may also place your fruit outside in the sun (in an area mindful of bugs) which will also speed up the ripening process.
