Pink Guava also known as Psidium guajava is believed to originate from Southern Mexico through Central America. The exact place of origin remains uncertain. We source all of our Pink Guava from local farmers when in season.
Pink Guava has a thin green skin that turns yellow as the fruit ripens. A ripe Guava has a strong aroma that can fill a room. The jelly like flesh is filled with small edible seeds and has a sweet, aromatic taste that is completely unique to itself.
Pink Guava is packed with Vitamin C, potassium(even more than bananas), and many flavonoids. Due to this, Guava has been labeled as a “Superfood” many times. Pink Guava is available year round outside of some winter months. Refer to our SEASONAL GUIDE

The Pink Guava is shipped unripe and will arrive green and hard. When ripe the skin will change in color to yellow and the fruit will become very fragrant. At this time it will also be soft enough to break open with your hands. The seeds are hard to chew but are still edible.
Once the fruit has arrived, in the case that there are any damages to the fruit or the fruit is inedible, please notify us within 24 hours via email with a picture of the damaged/inedible/spoiled fruit email@example.com. If we determine that you did in fact submit your photo within our allowable timeframe and your fruit is in fact compromised, you will either be refunded for the portion of your order that you are unable to enjoy, OR if more than half of your box is compromised, we will resend a fresh order. Due to the perishability of tropical fruit we are not able to refund after the 24 hour period.
When reaching out to us via email, PLEASE bear with us as we are a small business and our response times are slightly exaggerated. We are doing our best to respond to each email as quickly as possible within a 24 hour timeframe. As long as you have followed procedure and submitted your photos within 24 hours of receipt of your delivery we will do our due diligence to honor your claim.
